Day 1: Arrival in Zanzibar

Upon your morning arrival at Zanzibar airport or seaport, our representative will be there to greet you.

We'll transport you to the Tembo House Hotel, conveniently located in Stone Town near the Forodhani Garden, known for its night market.

At the Tembo House Hotel, you'll check in, have lunch on your own, and then embark on a guided tour of Stone Town.

The tour concludes at the African House Hotel, an ideal spot to witness a breathtaking sunset. Your hotel is just a short 5-minute walk away.

You'll spend the night at the Tembo House Hotel in Stone Town, with breakfast included. If you opt for the bed and breakfast option, you can explore various Zanzibar dishes at different restaurants in Stone Town.

Day 2: Dolphin & Jozani Forest Adventure

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel around 8:00 to 8:30, you'll depart for a Dolphin tour at Kizimkazi, with a stop at the Jozani forest on your way back.

The Dolphin tour takes place at the Minai Bay Marine Reserve, and your guide will take care of all the details.

You'll have the opportunity to swim with dolphins and go snorkeling in the stunning Minai Bay Marine Reserve.

Snorkeling equipment is available at the starting point if you need it, mostly masks and flippers. Don't forget to place your lunch order before the tour begins, as it is included.

On your way back, at around 3:00 PM, you'll visit the Jozani forest, where you'll encounter the rare red colobus monkeys. Following your visit to the Jozani forest, you'll return to the Tembo House Hotel in Stone Town for another night.

You'll spend the night at the Tembo House Hotel in Stone Town, with breakfast included.

Day 3: Boat Excursion to Prison Island – Matemwe Beach

After your morning breakfast at the hotel, at approximately 9:00 AM, you'll set off for Prison Island using a traditional wooden dhow.

If you plan to snorkel, be sure to rent snorkeling gear from the boatman before departing Stone Town.

Prison Island was originally intended as a place to conceal slaves during the slave trade in East and Central Africa.

It also served as a quarantine location during disease outbreaks like cholera and yellow fever. Nowadays, the island is home to some rare Giant Aldabra tortoises.

You can have lunch there on your own before sailing back to Stone Town and the Tembo House Hotel. In the late afternoon, we'll drive to Matemwe Beach, which is approximately 55 kilometers away and takes around 1 hour and 15 minutes.

You'll check in at the Sunshine Hotel Zanzibar, and you'll have free time until dinner.

You'll spend the night at the Sunshine Hotel Zanzibar on the beautiful Matemwe beach, with dinner and breakfast included.

Day 4: Free Day at Matemwe Beach

Today is a leisure day, offering you the opportunity to enjoy the warm waters of the Indian Ocean.

You can swim, take a stroll along the beach to the reef on the eastern side of Zanzibar Island, or arrange activities like scuba diving at Mnemba Island or deep-sea fishing with local fishermen through the hotel.

You'll stay overnight at the Sunshine Hotel Zanzibar in Matemwe Beach, with dinner and breakfast included.

Day 5: Transfer to Zanzibar Airport

Following breakfast, we will arrange your transfer to Zanzibar airport, taking into account your flight schedule, to ensure you catch your flight back home.
